RISE UP

This album predominately has an 80’s melodic rock flavor to it. The first two songs "Can't Let You Go" and "I need You" showcase Billy's melodic AOR songwriting style. The album also features the classic Dokken song "Alone Again" that is an acoustic cover of this 80s rock ballad.

Rise Up was officially released in Sept of 2021 but all the songs were recorded in 2013 and Billy wrote, recorded and performed all the instruments on the album.

The album it is a mix of classic rock, acoustic singer songwriter & alt- country. Drawing from childhood influences such as Aerosmith, Bad Company & The Eagles as well as newer artists like Rival Sons, Chris Stapleton & Whiskey Myers.

Billy wrote and performed most of the music and recorded it during the recent pandemic lock down.
